Student’s Thinking Process in Geometry Problem Solving Reviewed from Personality Types Hippocrates-Galenus

The purpose of the study was to describe thinking process junior high school students in solving mathematical problems terms personality types sanguine, choleric, melancholic, and phlegmatic. used is based on Piaget's theory which consists assimilation accommodation processes. This a descriptive qualitative approach conducted one state schools Pangkalpinang. subjects this consisted 4 class VII. Subject selection using purposive technique. instruments were researchers, type questionnaires, math problem-solving test questions, interview guidelines. validity data done by technical triangulation. Data analysis Miles Huberman model. results showed that sanguine phlegmatic carried out processes at all stages Polya's problem for questions. Choleric melancholic Polya world questions with abstract context.
